Visit The Farm

Come Visit California’s Largest Peony Farm!

The “end-ish” of May

Thursday -Sunday

10:00 Am-4:30 PM

The farm will be open two long weekends during our harvest window which is typically the last week of May and the first few days of June. Our harvest however, is weather dependent and not 100% predictable. As soon as we are certain of dates, we will post them here & on social media! Thank you for your patience as we navigate this uncertain adventure with Mother Nature!

There will be a farm stand open with multiple varieties of fresh cut peony stems to purchase. Please note that this is a working farm with dirt pathways and uneven ground in places. Please wear proper footwear and be aware of farm equipment moving about & courteous to our field crew.

Nestled against the Trinity Alps, Russian Wilderness & Marble Mountains, Scott Valley is a scenic rural area with quaint small towns a buzz with hip businesses. You will feel right at home in our welcoming community while you enjoy artisan baked goods & great coffee, a pint poured at our local watering holes, or fine dinning at a distillery… with so many great options, you will want to come back again :)

Callahan

The Callahan Emporium is located right down the road from our farm. This gold rush era bar & general store is our go to spot for ice cream after hitting a swimming hole, snacks & a can of worms before a fishing trip, a game of pool on Friday nights & a cold pint after farm chores.

Etna

If you are an early bird and visiting the farm in the morning, we highly recommend checking out the freshly baked & French inspired pastries at The Farmhouse Bakery or avocado toast and a smoothie at Wildwood Coffee. If you are looking for a sunny patio, good food & a craft brew, then Etna Brewing Co. is your spot. If craft cocktails & upscale dining is your style then Denny Bar Co. Distillery will take care of you. They offer complementary distillery tours & have killer happy hour deals too!

Fort Jones

If you haven’t been to Five Mary’s Burgerhouse yet then it is a must stop. The burgers are awesome and the back patio is a great place to hang & share some drinks with family & friends. The Trading Post is a great breakfast or lunch spot and if Mexican is your craving, then Maria’s will hit the spot!
